Fire in the Otways now at Aireys Inlet 4klm's NW and only 7 Trucks there (Duckponds Track)
Where the hell is this going to end and windy tomorrow and 38 degrees on Friday................ :cry:

yep only a couple of ks from mine , left work at 3.00 pm after seeing huge smoke plumes
memories of a couple of years back :twisted:
picked up my daughter ...wife made it home all safe

i tell ya the roads were pandamoneum , people need to remember to concentrate anyhow
things seem ok just waiting to see what the winds doing
not much sleep tonight

I live on this site. Radar is great if your going for a squirt too.
If you go to radar, pick melb obviously but you can click on doppler wind radar as well

Apparantly we have a 'copycat' arsonist in our South West - 18 deliberately lit fires since the Vic tragedy according to report this morning .

ie Not only is this arsonist a self absorbed power tripper but displays no imagination either !? :x :x

my nephew was at yarra glen. lost his house but the hay shed survived. his bike was in the hay shed between two rows of bales. an ember fell on the seat, burnt through it and went out. go figure

but surely if you tie one of these Bastards to a tree a klm in front of one of his own fires it's not murder is it?
I'de be nice enough to leave an industrial fan blowing on him to keep him cool :twisted:

a few places under threat apparently. Also just so i could get some perspective on where they are, i threw together a google map listing the places in this mornings report.

Also more news reports.
