They're not trying to change the law. They are just trying to get an exemption for their situation. As you said, there should be availability for exemptions, unfortunately as it stands now there is not. That is all they are asking for with this petition.ZXR750 wrote:Sorry. I won't be signing. As for young children The number of times I see kids even over the age of eight being taken for a ride wearing a poor fitting helmet with "protective" T shirt and shorts makes me sick. Especially when the rider is usually in full gear. Just my thought but the pillion should have at least the same protective gear as the rider. If you care about the person on the back of the bike then at least show it.
