Having most of the people doing 85 mph on 70 mph motorways and up to 100 mph (161 km/h) being unofficially tolerated is pretty lenient don't you think? It's laughable that here you can find a news story on somebody doing 180 km/h on the highway. There are no fixed speed cameras on the motorways unless it's a variable speed limit which is marked out with huge signs and uncommon (the M25 around London is the only one I encountered) or a construction zone. They don't have undercover speed camera cars, they have vans with big camera stickers on them. Their fixed speed cameras are painted bright yellow and have markings on the road in the photo area. Other than this, the excellent cheap beer in england, the shithouse weather (summer was a few days of the year not a season), england is pretty similar in many respects.
The freedom to use a four cylinder 600's power regularly without much fear of fines or impoundment is quite a relief compared to here. Now we do have a great country here, but some things that are important to me are better over there and overall it's not a bad country too.
Anyway, this is getting a bit whingy so I won't bring it up again.

hahah... I thought that had been erased from everyone's memory banks.
I was hesitant to call BS at the time because so many were tagging along I thought for sure someone had verified the joker - What was the full story?
Is there a post I missed?

It was legit. I helped the fella out to get the old POS dyno-tested, and apparently kept him out of the slammer, but he was on home detention.

Ok so who's collecting for RC Car ?.
Maybe we could all Toss in & buy him a "Big Bore Rectum Detent Kit" I'd imagine it would be more appreciated.
