Not quite..... Yes, Ned is quoted as saying " Such is life " , but that does not translate to " Cie la Vie ".
The French quote " C'est la vie " translates as " That's life " ...... or " it's the life ".

I'd say case closed on this simple comment alone

Ned Kelly (Very Famous Austalian Bush Ranger FYI) was in FACT quoted as saying "Such is life" on his dying breath..
Now last time I had a peak under any ZX6/9's tank I found 4 CVK40's as factory fitted..... Same as 90% of other 4 stroke carbed Kwaka's / Spookies etc , etc..
Ok so they do look very similar to CD Strombergs and both bear a vague resemblance though owing their roots to the venerable SU..
POINT???? ----- Unless you are driving an MG-A,B,Austin Kimberly,Rover 2000 or 3500(early),Triumph TR-3/3a, Datsun 510 SSS , etc,etc,etc
OR you have had a major BRAIN

and actually managed to fit a worn out set of 1964 1 1/2" SU's to your 90's plus ZX 9 , then as 'GOSLING' [correct spelling] has endeavoured to illustrate , the amount of difference riding from sea level to say 3000m above with CORRECTLY tuned motorcycle / car / minivan / rikshaw etc which is mechanically sound (ie not running 55psi comp in one pot!?) will be SFA for a street bike..
Now can we HTFU , STFU , LTFU and various other explanatary expleetive acronymes and all just move along
"nothing to see here people!!"

G'day IsleofNinja,
Edward Kelly (Ned) was hung (by the neck) at the old Melbourne Gaol (Russell Street) on the 11/11/1880. He was 25 years old. He said "Such is life" as his LAST words, not dying words, as he stood on the gallows while they put the noose around his neck.
He said nothing else after he was hung, surprisingly enough because he was dead! They are the REAL facts.
Also if you go back in this post, I contributed my 2 cents worth about the forth post down.
I do not believe I attacked any person nor do I believe I gave any false information I just voiced an opinion of my own! As we all can and do.
Then Goose (spelled correctly this time) went ballistic.
From there on in I have responded to his taunts. As we do!
Bogan mentioned he wanted to "wring his bikes neck" from memory at "the creek" or "the island". I assumed (which is a bad thing to do here obviously) he was going racing??? Obviously not! To me the creek is Eastern Creek and the Island is Phillip Island. If I was going to either of these places track day or not I would give my bike the best tickle up ever. Maybe even jetting if I felt that was what was required for the day.
So at this stage I unreservedly apologise to anybody I offended by my comments. Except Goose. Who knows what he is!

G'day Goose,
I need to maybe apologise to you as I did not realise you were so sick! Sounds like you have a really bad case of elephantiasis!!! Not to mention a minute cock and brain.
I suggest you go back and read all the posts about how you fucked up on a 250 mate. I joined the site and read about after the event and could still see what the problem was well before you got involved and you still tried to push start the shitter to make it go! You fucked up big time get over it moron.
Just like you did on this site in your rave about Av Gas being power kerosene mate no wonder you call yourself Goose!
Yes I was Allan J on the other site because that is my name. Pretty simple eh! Just like you!! So maybe you should clarify your facts before you use such big words. The reason TWO other members had a go at me was because I said a GPz900R has adjustable tappets. I suppose you would like to go down that track again???? Who gives a fuck if they want to call them rocker arms or whatever the fuck they called them. It is all there in public why don't you put a link to the site so others can read it for themselves??? No bullshit involved then. Or don't you know how???
As for nobody giving a fuck plenty are reading and commenting on it! Even you reckon it is good for a laugh!!! Well laugh on goose!
As for my racing career I had a long and successful one I am happy with what I did and that is my business not yours. Those who know me know what I have achieved.
Again good luck with your severe case of Elephantiasis and your tiny penis situation! YPSC! When and if your balls return to their normal size you can get back on your CT-110 or vespa.

Why is KSRC all about if your a racer you are cool and if you raced more than another person that makes you cooler etc etc...and if you have achieved a better result in racing than someone else that makes you a better more knowledgeable person somehow..and if your faster than a racer then you are a hero..and you have a massive penis ??
NEWSFLASH: Not everyone is a racer or wants to race, it does not mean they dont know what they are talking about or dont have skills in other areas, or are not nice people to hang around with..this club is getting too self obsessed with the speed at which people ride at as to whether they are entitled to have an opinion on the forum..it almost makes me sick.
Who gives a fuck what people have achieved..Who I consider my best friends outside KSRC dont even watch racing or even ridden a motorcycle, does that mean they are fuckwits, or any less worthy than anyone else I know in KSRC..or they are in anyway less cool ??
How about we stop measuring our cocks against one another and stick to the facts....whether you are a fuking racer or not..it does not matter..
