What spider is this?

Oh, ok, the real size huh tail/body 14mm, total tail to fang length about 30mm.
I don't think it's an orb or am I thinking golden orb spider here? they spin huge golden colored webs?

There seems to be no similar looking spider on the really nasty list so i can assume it is a huntsman. Very different to the southern state huntsman or bush huntsman, maybe this was the first female of the species I have seen as the males look very different and lean in comparison:?

The Garden Orb Weaver's often found in a REALLY scraggy looking web - they tend to put 'em up in vulnerable places overnight. When the web gets broken up a bit, they either sit there looking stupid blowing round and round in the wind, or find some nice little spot to hide until evening. If it's got a flattish abdomen, it's a huntsman. If it's bulbous, it's not.

Neither of 'em are real nasty, but you've usually got to try pretty hard to get a huntsman to bite.

I hate how you kill a ginormous spider, and when you say "look how big it is", its suddenly about the size of a 1c piece, and your partner looks at you funny and goes "yeah, right!"

maybe its the fact that they look bigger when their legs are out. when they're dead their legs are tucked in...

Sooo, I am still alive and have all my flesh intact..
It had a bulbous back end for sure, pity I didn't get a better photo of it, it was shy enough as it was and I really didnt want to mess with it trying to get a better pic at the time being a little freaked out and all

I can tell you this experience is no where near as frightening as when those vicious cockroaches appear aye Wendy, seeing and getting touched by one of those will be a fate worse than death! For me it is anyway if it doesnt go away

Those QLD cockroaches are worth fearing let me tell you! They could near on scare a girl to death! (And if the cocky doesn't scare you to death my screaming will! )
