Karen, the thing to remember is that "most" guys want to see more females riding. I spent a lot of time teaching my wife how to ride, and am always supportive when she has questions. Which makes a change from me just getting cranky. Now, if it was one of my brothers (who all know how to ride, but we'll just use it as an example), I'd show him the basics and tell him to figure it out for himself.

Not sure if that's a good example, but I'm sure you get what I mean.

NetRider was the first forum i ever read.
From there i followed someone's post into here.

i am very saddened with what is going on with at the moment,
but after all the MRA bashing that has taken place on NetRider,
it is kinda like of poetic justice or some sort irony.

Today i jumped out of that pool and into this one,
so i could read posts that are actually about motorcycles.
Since i am here for some Peace & Quite,
i promise to keep my tone low and not mention NetRider for a while.

hmmm the MRA tries (note i said "tries") to help motrocyclists...yet ppl bag
em?? i kno they might not get much done, but at least there on our side,
which is more than i can say for the cops (exceptions of course) and the
govt.
oh well ...sum ppl still shit in the own nest!!

Never looked at netrider until this thread came up..never even new it existed...now that I do, it hasn't changed anything.

Won't be using it.

I've got a netrider membership, and i agree that the "womens forum" is a bit of a joke. As far as i'm concerned there isn't a question too stupid to ask, i think i've asked half of them myself and read other people asking the rest.

Helping other riders & having a community is what its all about. I just hope that new (fe)male riders or maybe-soon riders take the time and read about and get past the arseyness (that is here and there on any forum despite what anyone says) and starts to find value in them enough to read in depth and join in, or find another forum that caters to their tastes/desires if this one does not.

i've said this there and ill say it here, i ride cos its fun and i've accepted the fact its male dominated(so may be others over there should too)

plus i agree with karen, you guys can provide valuable info at times which has helped me become a better rider.

with all the shite thats going on over there i now parouse this forum more often

Besides, everyone know's blokes are better riders, so why the hell would you want to take tips from other crappy chick riders?
