Yes, I will officiate, but I already know the result !Benno wrote:Another Hi-Vis challenge! What a momentous occasion this is! Hoffy, will you please preside over the proceedings? Your expertise in Hi-Vis matters would be greatly appreciated!
I see you are in Melbourne. Expains why you are talking it up thenStrika wrote:Would you like me to pic a road, or do you need a home ground advantage????Also, am I allowed to remove my top Box and panniers, or are you happy to have you and you suzuki hosed by it sans luggage???
Relax...don't panic! I often go to Sydney for work, nearly every month. When I am able to, I ride the bike! Would you like me to PM you next trip to ensure you're available???r1_forever wrote:I see you are in Melbourne. I'm thinking about it, shinko 003's have about 8-9kkm on them, noticed today the rear has about 1mm to go before it hits the twi in the middle, got about 2 on the sides. Overall it still looks pretty healthy, but as Shell got me a trackday for my bithday and i have to use it by mid may i am going to have to replace them sometime soon so i have fresh rubber for the track.
Any thoughts about the M1's? im also considering more 003's actually, but they are still a bit $ey (i need to look at what sponsors have to offer to be honest)
Quite right - still have the M1s on the CBR - they have done two track days and aside from a little orange peel still stick really well - even in the wet at P.I. The previous set of M1s I used for commuting and got 15 billion gazelles from the rear and 30 billion gazelles from the front. Great grip to wear ratio, much better than the OEM Dunny Qualifiers on the 10 - still to decide on the M3s, but so far so good.Strika wrote:Mike, ask Mikeabout his thoughts on them. He ran them on the CBR600 before he got the 10. He also did a trackday at Broadford on them, which didn't appear to hinder him in any way???
