Yeah yeah yeah... I just decided everything else was a compromise and not really what I wanted.

06 model, 14k on the clock, 13 months rego, $13k ready to roll.... and comes with all the stuff I'd have fitted... exhaust, PCM, and a rack. Not exactly a steal but I think it's a pretty fair price considering they were about $17k ride away new last year and there's a good $1500 of bits on it.... $18.5k bike, two years old, $13k.... ruff enuff and this little camper is happy.

And if anyone doesn't thinkit's a good buy, keep it to yourself or I'll kick you in the nuts.

You would think that mate, blardy ten owners... why doncha buy a real bike? :D

Must say I did like that red one on ebay a few weeks back, but it'd be instantly recognisable as someone else's old bike and I like the idea of buying closer to home... the dealership is about 3 minutes from my office. Like most big dealers they have a debatable reputation but four of the five staff I dealt with were professional & knowledgeable... the other one was a bit of an amateur and didn't know much but hey you gotta start somewhere!! :)

Meanwhile, having ridden it twice in the rain in one day... farkin!

Mate I'm soon to be in a similar boat to you and have narrowed my focus down to the ZRX1200 and CB1300, I figure what I save on the initial outlay I can spend on exhaust and suspension improvements. That said CB1300's have been discontinued.

Great work Shifty !! You will not be dissapointed in your new steed..........the 12's just have *the lot*. Go as fast as anything else out there, in fact faster than most.

Handle great, especially once you get sag / preload and rebound all dialled in.

Comfortable around town and short-haul fanging. The seat does tend to grow (small) teeth after a few hours, and you may also find that the throttle hand gets a few tingles on a *long* trip.

Watch the tyre wear ! I have fitted a 2CT to the rear, on Strika's advice, and so far its been great.
