then again most tlr rider do put bling on the bikes, like chrome this and polished that and exhaust systems and brake upgrades and shock upgrades etc
thats not always a good thing... most ppl prefer to buy a stock bike..or have the stock bits in case...

And really, does bling add much to the value of the bike?? In my experience not really, so some of these guys (on any bike really, not just TLR's) who want 70/80% of what the bike was new for something 8-10 years old are farked!!!
Upon reflection I don't miss not having the TLR too much as I have my Zed and it rocks!!!

It was the "S" that had most of the drama's. Frame cracking near the headstock, rear damper mounts cracking. Tank recall, ECU recall and a damper that was worse than the TLR one. There's nothing wrong with the TLR brakes, it's the same set-up as the Hayabusa, ZX9R's etc got. Tokico 6 piston calipers and a 5/8" master cylinder for the front.
The TLR wasn't changed during it's production run except for graphics (and a change in clutch plate numbers).

I assume you're referring to the Blade v' the 12. A stock 12 has about 175HP and a massive 134Nm of torque!!
In comparison, the Blade is only putting out 151 HP and 105Nm of torque....
No comparison really..... mind you, with the height of the pillion seat on the 12, I'd hardly call it pillion friendly.

From every report I have read, the tiller isn't any better when it comes to pillion accommodation!
