Side pipe seems better in my stakes
dont get a hot arse plus the side pipe gets more airflow right around the whole pipe to keep it cooler ... No wonder they went back to the side pipe for 08

Glad i got a Integrated taillight that makes them even more flush than the 06/07

Yeah great better out of corners & much better than elbow pointing at the ground or wrist cranked back until the blood circulation is cut off

quick action if F@#ken tops at the track!!
no need to go for that extra bit of twist to get the full throttle.
i never rode a 10 without it, but madkaw says the difference is the equivalent to gearing down
it is a bit touchy but

He woke up with his head stuck between the radiator & the front rim. I told him that was getting just a tad tooooooooooo far off the bike.
He's got some nerve damage in his left arm, so he's officially "a soft coqu & Limp Wristed old fart now".
Got his Crim trackie pumping @172 at the wheels last i heard. No road bike in his near future afaik.

oh..thats no good.. id hate to lose my road bike.... or the ability/confidence to ride one...
