No, I'm a bit shy like that, but if someone approaches me first I'll more than likely say hello.

ozten wrote:Wat about this... if there is a rider stopped at a set of lights will you pull up right beside him and say gday or sit back a bit from him and just give him a nod, it has happened to me a couple of times some riders will come up right beside you where others will keep there distance
Always pull up along side for a chat unless they're a Harley riding tosser, with blah, blah, blah......in that circumstance I pull up just forward of them, lift an arse cheek in their general direction and some of my personal exhaust their way. If they're gonna snarl anyway, may as well give 'em a reason.......

what else can you really have a chin wag about in a 1 minute sesh
i get the odd, Hot aint it! or where ya riding too / from.
i got to admit i don't nod to female riders, cause i feel it would be intepreted as something sinister (because i assume they get harrassed by lots of male bikers and even guys in cars) ... weird ain't it.

Dont ignore us!!!....that's just rude!

We do get our fair share of hecklers, but that's part of riding ..and we can hold our own can't we Ladies!
ALL FOR THE NOD!! never known any different -
Mind you i don't bother nodding at harley's or immitation harleys because i dont want them to cause an accident if they shift their eyes off the road - AND SCOOTERS ARE NOT BIKES - pocket bikes are bikes (not real bikes, but bikes non the less)..scooters were created by a kid to lazy to stand up, then too lazy to push themselves along...Motorised eski's are more usefull!!...and more inviting.....
People who love their bikes, love the culture and repect other riders WILL NOD!
Cheers Possum

Always gets returned because I must be riding in a friendly way.
I find even the car officers which are parked with the bikes are friendly and will wave I figure the more friendly I am with the police hopefully the more they don't make assumptions about all riders.
Everytime i see a cop bike "wild hogs" pops to mind, i cant help it. Im surprised that the laughing hasnt got me into trouble yet.

if i ever find myself in country Victoria and i see a biker riding an ER6 with what looks like a ferret attacking the back of their helmet, i'll make sure and nod!

I nod and tip the lid to all I see. Except if they look like Neka. Then it's the bird!

I always nod, no matter who it is.... even Hardley riders.

My missus nods as well, when on the back.
The only draw back is when there is 15 riders in a row.... I get a sore neck.
