Wipeing your arse can be a bit of a chore with hands like that too,I was doing the jeans and t-shirt thing when i fell off the first time but i hung onto the bike and was still hanging on when it hit the deck so i only lost a bit of skin on my arm which has grown back now.
I learnt a lesson and always throw on a textile for comuting now, full gear for a ride up the hils or track day though no good having all that expensive leather and only wearing it in the bedroom. lol

The protective gear debate seems to pop up on all forums from time to time. At the end of the day its all about choice. Is this guy a dickhead? Easy to make opinions sitting back on your computer without even meeting the guy. He made a mistake

who hasn't. It was his call not to wear gloves and probably kicking himself for popping it up.
If i decide to go down to the servo or over to a mates house(whatever) and i only wanna wear jeans/t-shirt/joggers/helmet then thats my call. The law says you are only required to wear an approved helmet.
I wear joggers cause i have trouble changing gears in my thongs.
