Looking at that photo at least you won't have to pay to get it towed, just write your address on the tank, stick a stamp on it and slide it into the nearest mailbox slot! :?

  Mate that is shithouse. You must've been kissed on the arse by a fairy to get out of that one.

As others have said get statements off everyone you can. If you've got a good witness which it sounds like you do then hopefully you'll be right.

Do you know whether the bloke was an independant subby or a company driver ie for Toll, K and S, Linfox or someone. If he's a company driver I suggest you'll probably have an easier time.

Glad to hear your OK. As Glen and almost everybody else has said "Get the Statements".

The last thing a major company wants is a bad record, especially with the comuters!!

how much you want for the rear tyre :D

I think thats the only good bit left....

keep us informed

don't forget the medical bills too, also any time you have had to take off work. may also be covered.
and what everyone else said, riding gear, bike.

when you say conflicting, do you know what the truckie said? did he outright lie or was it a gray area?

doesn't sound very gray to me, probably would have kept going if the bike hadn't got stuck in the axle.

Your bike can be replaced. You can't. Good thing you're still with us and in one piece.

Personally I wouldn't be doing anything to encourage those pricks. If you'd seen the footage they were complaining about it was a clear case of two vehicles changing lanes into the middle lane at the same time, not a truck driver being a maniac.
