The 'bike reputation' thing does not worry me at all. It's still way above P-platers and Nissan Skyline reputation. No kids will wave to any of those !

Today's Syndey Telegraph motorist takes to motorcyclist with a garden rake and racks off. To arms people shotties on the handlebars. It's as bad as the 70's I used to keep my chain and padlock over my shoulder to hurl at the idiots then things semmed to improve as to seeing you and now we are going backwards. So much for the ad campaigns that motocyclists paid for, for pEople to keep an eye out for fellow road users i.e. US.

As is every fuckwit cager if you commute to work on a bike. So what? I hope both parties get done by the book because they both deserve it.

How does the bus driver deserve it? He was just trying to get away from a bunch of rogue riders who wanted his head? For what doing his job? Just incase you have forgotten if your behind a bus and its pulling out the bus has rite of way...
Sorry to say but im on the drivers side with this one..

Interesting how quickly things can change
Conflicting stories have emerged over what happened during a road rage incident in South Melbourne yesterday, in which a motorcycle was destroyed and a bus driver allegedly assaulted.
A woman who says she was a passenger on the bus claimed the bus driver deliberately drove at one of three motorcyclists, "nudging" his bike, and drove over another bike, dragging it several hundred metres after its rider leapt clear.
Police earlier said the bike was run over after its rider parked in front of the bus in anger at the bus cutting him off.
Meanwhile, bus driver Ranjana Thenabadu says he may not return to work due to the stress of the incident.

Right, so you have a bussload of passengers.
Who are most definitely your responsibility.
Some of whom may be school children.
A timetable, that I'd guess most of you wouldn't even consider just how stupidly tight they can be.
A blindspot that can be as large as a small car, and thats just the A pillar at the front; let alone the mirrors and rear.
And a gang of angry men outside your vehicle.
What are YOU going to do?
At fault the driver of the bus most definitely is for running over a parked vehicle.
At fault the driver is for cutting of the biker.
At fault and stupid are the bikers who surrounded a public transport vehicle. Threatening the the passengers and operator.
Its quite possible to be charged using the loverly new anti terrorism laws on that one...

some of those bus drivers are abit troppo and dont give way to anything the motorcyclist was prolly just trying to tell him that he nearly killed him back down the road when all hell broke loose

youd think with the responsability a bus driver has got theyd be more carefull

Youd also think that a guy on a 2m long 200 kg machine would give a bit more leeway to a 14m long 12000 kg machine... leave the idiocy to the cagers.
HTFU and get on with the riding.

umm interesting alright...
Dont most busses have right of way?? and a big "give way" sign on them??
shouldnt riders be aware that buses may pull out and be ready in case?? or is it just me??
im a staunch advocate in alerting ppl to their driving mistakes..ussually a "hey dickhead open ur eyes" or a rude gesture & a shake of the head...
i reckon if i were in the bus id of done the same thing..then if the 5 guys got thru the bus like they did, it woulda been on!!
wot the bus driver did was wrong, but u can see his point surely?? he was possible scared shitless!!
these riders will drag us down...a simple abusive scream, and being road aware woulda saved em all the hassle...
