Started off riding a Honda CT70 around the bush. Once I got my license I got addicted to modifying cars but could never get them going fast enough. Bought a CBR250RR to finally get a bike license, sold it as soon as I got my P's as it just got too boring and the weather was right to get the most money from it. Had no bike for a couple years, then eventually fuel got too expensive so got rid of the car and started hunting for a Blackbird (yeah a honda) but couldn't find any for a good price. Then I thought stuff it I'll get something fast that can do a bit of long distance (hence the 1litre bikes were out). The hayabusa was high on my list but the prices were and still crazy, and it's not the best looking thing. Then I discovered the 12 and it was love at first sight

When i was younger and was racing dirt bikes i started off on Honda's CR's And Yamaha YZ's, One at a race one of my mates turned up on a new Kawasaki KDX 175, Took it for a spin and loved it, sold my bikes and went out and bought one myself been into kwakas ever since as the KDX never broke down like the Honda & Yamaha and i thought if the road bikes are just as good ill stay with team green

and here i am

Seeing a black and red GPZ900R in a dealer window around the corner from my Granny's place in Morphett Vale in 1987/88.
It took me another 12 years to get around to getting a bike, but it was a great little GPX250 that I rode the ring off trying to keep up with my mates on bigger bikes. It never gave me any problems though for two years, aside from a dodgy battery, so when a shiny blue ZX9R came up at the local dealer I couldn't pass it up.
That 9 lasted for a few years, and aside from some gearbox issues, was also a great bike and looking for info on it led me to KSRC, so it couldn't be all bad
When the opportunity came up to upgrade, I admit I tried to be open minded about other brands, but the 10 won my heart and here we are.
...and I have to say that entering the 4th dimension at Gos's place has got me fired up about getting an old Kwaka to work on, as soon as I can convince the Minister that it is a good idea

Simple...I saw Stone.
And I just wanted a zzr250. That was what I wanted, that was what I bought, and the Fates were kind enough not to let anyone else buy it while I had issues getting finance....

When I was a kid I arbitrarily chose my favourite things: colour - blue, footy team - Geelong, tinned corn - Edgell, tinned pineapple - Golden Circle, cars - Toyota (and BMWs), trucks - Kenworth, motorbikes - Kawasaki
I've remained brand loyal ever since (except I somehow ended up with a Suzuki car due to extreme poverty caused by writing off my beautiful Corolla - but my sewing machine is a Toyota) so whenever I considered getting a motorbike I only ever considered a Kawasaki - and so that's what I got. They look the best anyway.
I would like my next one to be green.

Was after a cheapish 600 and bloke I know via another bloke happens to repair and sell repairable writeoffs, had the ZZR in a spare bedroom.
Had to get past a Viffer 800 in the hall to see it.

Phil got me into Kawasaki's. I wanted to buy a bike after seeing the boys riding every weekend and I asked Phil to help me buy a bike. Suprisingly we ended up looking at GPX's and I started with a nice 87 model GPX. I have strayed and have had a Yamaha, Triumph and even a Husky.
After the ksrc dyno day and seeing the mighty 10's on the dyno I decided to get a 10 but ended up with the 12 (thats another story).
Now I have two Kawasaki's

After being grounded for 3 long years i was actually looking for a good GSXR 750 but couldn't find a good sorted one at the time(yes i am fussy!).Impatience led me to thinking of other bikes and remembered a mates ZXR750 that i liked, went to see a couple of crap examples advertised and then called in on my now ZX6R on the off chance on the way home. The sweet sounding engine and air induction paired with the zorst had me hooked

I think it comes down to being brainwashed by the gang on this forum!
