Alot of harley riders have to work hard at putting away the required reddys to make there dream purchase, and truely do believe that they are above common hooligan sportsbike riders. For the die hard harley riders there is only one make of bike.

Harley's have come along way froggy last year they bought out twin cam engines and fool injection. oh oh oh and a cogswapper with 6 gears. Pity they havent worked out that a front wheel the size of my sons bmx and a single disc dont do a very good job of stopping 2 ton of metal. (Now im just getting picky... I know)

If you think one has an attitude try getting three or more toghter .....

Try this next time your talkin to a harley rider bait him/her up about how fast and/or powerful there or harley's in general are.

Then try to keep a straight face as the b/s flows.

(I really shouldnt drink and post) :)

the reason harley riders have attitudes :

1 . too bloody expensive .
2. bits fall off . ( thats why nearly all harley parts are chrome. easier to find by the side of the road)
3. they have leather bits ( gimps love leather)
4. you instantly become a tough guy .
5. they dont stop, start,go,handle or even look nice !

ever seen a morgan & wacker group ride ? there is always a ute or two ,sometimes with trailers, following along picking up the solicitors whose "bike just stopped "

if i have offended any harley riders , tough shit !

Hi to all KSRC members,it's been a while since i visit the site, sure looks great and professionally done up :D

Now back to the topic, gotta share my experience about harley bikers some of em are ok but majority are questionable by how they behave.

I met a few harley bikers while exiting the border checkpoint of Thailand into Malaysia coming back from Koh Samui, so i waved at them while continuing my journey south, they looked at my group and never returned the wave but instead looked at us as if we are from another planet so i just carried on my ride to stop one night in Kuala Lumpur.

My friends noticed it too so we were discussing about their behavour that night and we decided not to bother with those types no more.

The funny thing was my group met them again the next day at a pumpstation before another 2 hrs ride into Singapore. I saw it was the same chaps so i just pretended not to acknowledge them while queing up for petrol. Another friend of mine who rode a Goldwing came up to me to ask for help about some bloke who had a cracked fuel tank and need fixing up.It was for one of them harley bikes.I had an option of just telling my friend to tell em to F---off or to help them.

Instead i help them after asking what was wrong . I fixed the 2 inch long crack on the harley bike with some steel epoxy araldite i always carry on long trips. They were very thankfull but i mentioned about the earlier meeting i had with them at the border and told them it will be much better to be friendlier with other bikers no matter what they ride cause true bikers help each other when we're on the road. They gave me a sheepish smile trying to hide the ambarrasment of admitting to their folly thru their tough looking facade.

I had the option but i did the latter cause i believe in Karma. They are people too and people are ignorant till something bad happens to them.Only my 2cents.

I know that sometimes we meet this kind of bikers who will irritate us to the core but at least i try to be nice even it is an uphill battle. As the saying goes " sometimes you win sometimes you lose but if you lose there are others who are losing more than you hopefully"

So cheers mates don't let them change your mindset on good biking.
Sorry for the long post :)
