Here is the *almost* finished new toy. Some little jobs to finish off, but this is basically how a KLz750R looks
Will update on how it handles

after its first blast up in the mountains......its running an XT600 front end, fitted with Racetech springs and modified dampers.....rear end are Hagons MX shocks, 390mm.
At this stage, the modified upper-shock mounts have not been welded on, these will give an additional 1.5" lift at the rear when fitted. The shakedown runs will determine if these are actually required.....
The only other *major* mod after this will be modifying the exhaust system into a 4-2, with crossover header pipes (1/3, and 2/4) exiting into a pair of Supertrapp muffers, one each side

. This will enable a decent bash-plate to be fitted under the sump..........a set of engine bars (with highway pegs

), and she will be perfect for a Sunday morning blast out on the firetrails !!!
Yes, that sidestand is an old tyre-lever

, heh it works just fine !!
