I apreciate your input but think you are drawing a pretty long bow.
and this has not happened before...
Whether its a sticker or a card or pamphlet, all can be a pest.
For example, bikeme.tv put glossy flyers on ppls cars and bikes at the GP's. It then rained and then cleared up during the day. I came out to my car to find a glossy brochure stuck to my windscreen. It was harder to remove than a sticker as it was paper and just teared..
I've heard a lot of ppl weren't happy about that.
Our stickers are plastic coated and, if not stuck on like some idiot did, won't stick to or damage anything no matter what the conditions.
nevertheless, it only takes one idiot to screw things up.
Perhaps we stop giving out stickers, unless ppl sign for em and are then witnessed permanently sticking them....
BTW, I have posted to OCAU on behalf of KSRC and possibly the num nut who did it.!....

Unfortunate that in todays world we even have to contemplate such nonsense as being sued for a sticker.....let alone that it should/would become a reality.
Only the lawyers would gain....

FuTAnT wrote:It's pretty lame. I know in other threads you've discouraged actually sticking them on, but I think the admins etc really need to make it known that it is unacceptable to actually stick a sticker on. Leaving it something on the bike, yeah, ok, but not putting it on.
Wait till someone goes postal at you putting a sticker on and you'll all be fucked. Far less the police starting to be involved. The person regarding this post who was tagged is likely to go to the cops and complain.
Way to make yourselves look like an arse.
Shouldn't that be "ourselves" or are you not a member here.
Thats right, your just here for the flame..
FuTAnt quote from OCAU.
"Nice reply added to KSRC. I'll see how much flaming I get from that one."

There isn't much KSRC or KSRC Admin can do about a fuck wit with no common sense what so ever putting stickers on other peoples property, the fact that the sticker happens to partain to ksrc is obviously an issue, but there is nothing stopping someone from receiving 50 stickers, and 12 months later deciding they don't like KSRC and one day sticking them in places in an attempt to get KSRC in to trouble.
The idea of people signing for stickers, etc is an utter joke. I'll give you something.. you sign for it, now how in fuck am I going to know what you do with them unless there is a serial number or something that is as printed as the sticker content itself that identifies who received them.. Yeah right.. that'd be the day..
All we as a club and members can do is hope that people have a clue, and when someone is given a bunch of stickers who in turn passes them onto a mate, makes it clear to THEM what they are for.. You can't assum that the stickers where given by an admin to the person that mis-used them, they could have been passed on down the line through 2,3,4+ people before being mis-used.
Next we'll be expected to print instructions on the back....

Remove backing paper, place sticky side to
your bike, take backing paper to the nearest bin and dispose of.
or.
Remove backing paper and apply sticky side to Neka's left nipple or to Duane's member. Crack another Jimmy can and admire your handywork.

Fark mate, dunno how big you think my member is but one of those stickers would be just enough to encase the whole thing!!!

Recieved this from the sticker receiver...
May help us find the culprit.??
In regards to finding said twat it shouldn't be too hard. My bike is parked daily in Thomas st between UTS and TAFE ultimo. I noticed the sticker at about 5:15 Monday afternoon after work. It would be safe to assume they ride a kwaka and probably attend either UTS or TAFE and on their Ps/Ls so ride either a lams bike or a 250 gpx/zzr etc. Most bikes in Thomas st are either scooters or Honda 250 cbrrrrrs so narrowing it down to a possible handful shouldn't be hard. Ill let you deal with him/her/it in a manner you deem appropriate.

I guess I would be pretty pissed if someone from Club Hayabusa stuck one of their stickers on my 12
I am sure we all practice correct 'sticker etiquette', its just common sense. Of course, if common sense was common, everyone would have it. Clear evidence that some people don't is evidenced by the actions of said StickerBandit ....
try peeling it off slowly ER-5 dude, and use a rag with a bit of eucalyptus oil soaked in it, the residue will lift without any trace being left.
And We All Lived Happily Ever After....
