Wil people please, please, please stop pimping these con-artists?
We've been gasbagging about the possibility of a ZX6-based ZX7 or ZX8 on here for a couple of months now, we're hardly likely to have been the only ones doing it, and it's taken Tor Sagen and his Photoshop gimp until now to overhear someone else musing about it and present the idea as their own.

And I assume this would be standard.
The ZX7R was/is SEVERELY restricted in the engine pipes.
Can is worth about 5+hp, full system 15+
Original engine pipes on a 7 are SMALLER than on a 6
YET the aftermarket systems for 7 are IDENTICAL to a ZX9R!!!
There was also a LOT of technology between the birth of 7 and the 636.
Feel wise a 7 feels solid and a 636 flighty (comparitively) different situations will see different bikes more at home and it would prob come down to the rider (like most bikes) than the bike.
Realisticly technology should mean the 636 beats the 7 just on suspension improvements ...

one is quoted at the engine, the other at the wheel. they would be pretty close to each other in peak horsepower, just the 7 will probably have a higher average. weight doesnt really affect top speed too much

05 cbr1000 -155hp (ish)
05 cbr 600 - 115hp (ish)
so its not just kwaka who are getting more ponies each year...
so many things affect speed tho.. aerodynamics...gearing.... big nut
