Exactly wht Aardie said, you know yourself whether someone is speeding or not, whether you are in a car or walking.
I doubt whether I could guess as close as someone with exerience but.
I would also add that the majority of coppers in Qld are excellent with regards to the "actual" speed (except some of the young supermen).
I have a few good stories like Jonno myself. best was when I was doing over 180 and he booked me for 119 (under the double points). That is a VERY long story but and he was a VERY nice policeman and NO I never had kneepads on, just kneesliders yes  Way home from a trackie, on wide, open western road, NO cars (except his) for at least 10k and i slowed down before I could have seen it was a cop car (it was just a car on the horizon) but he ALREAY had me then. He said the fact that I dont rock past other vehicles at 200 meant i wasnt COMPLETELY stupid, and the trackies and my age meant I PROB had experience, he then warned me his mate was following him too

I REALLY REALLY should have sent him a BIG thankyou card....
What a bloody TOP bloke....
But I have lost count of the amount of times they have dropped it UNDER the cut off for the higher fine/points.
This is SINCE I have turned 30 and ridden "nice" (as oppsoed to RAT) bikes AND I am 42 now so maybe age and the bikes have something to do with it. Certainly the "speeding" in the right environment hasnt.
I DONT speed in suburbia.
Like to mono past schools but (JOKE JOKE JOKE)
