im too much of a pusy to get one,but some of those designs *DO* look the goods :). Colette, i take itthat colours a damnedsight more costly than a single ink pattern? looks nice and a surprise, i'd neverpick you for one to get tatted.

Thanks Mike, as I mentioned it has been something I have considered for ages and wanted it to have meaning for me.

Cost yes but pain moreso - took about 4 hrs :shock:

cost isnt affected by colour.... its simply time....

ussually a outline is done with like 4 needles..and deeper...for clarity, whereas colouring can be up to 20 needles , depending on the area being shaded of course....

mine was $250...3 hrs....

most artists charge abt $100 ish an hour, and considering it takes anywhere up to a couple of hours to actually prepare (transfer the ink onto a piece of grease-proof type paper ) and then get the ink on ur skin...THEN they can needle you!!

mmmmm tats, i want more but its all about the $$....... i plan on getting another to turn my existing (arm) one into a 1/2 sleeve.

interesting little side bit....when i was lying in the hospital after the skippy affair one of the nurses commented on the tat on my ankle, got it years ago when i was in the army and its a kangaroo........she commented that it was appropriate in light of what just happened.....bastid roos
