sounds good, we rode a rock 07 10, no mods, hence decent midrange... but a little disapointing for what was expected. and if kwaka designed it to be a little slower for noobs they did a good job ..hence my comments... control it and its fine.

You obviously missed this bit of my post

...and continuing to argue such a blatantly stupid point of view is highlighting that you are just trying to get a reaction, just the same as Kristy was obviously trying to do so successfully :P :P :P

no in all seriousness, the stock bike just doesnt seem to have the go, add the mods and maybe that makes a huge difference, I have no doubt it has power up high which is what the dyno reads....

looking up a dyno sheet for it now..

I am 6'6" and 100kgs so its not like i am a light weight and thats why its easy to wheelie. I am a very aggresive rider though so opening the throttle quick isnt a problem.

I do have to say i was talking about an 05 ZX10, dead stock it easy wheelied from 5000 in first. Having not ridden a newer model but riding with others who have it doesnt look to me that there that much tamer in the power department.
I was given a ZX9R as a loaner when my 10 was being serviced and that had no power at all compared to the 10. You really needed to rev it to go anywhere.

I dont have my roady anymore just my racebike, and that doesnt have a problem wheelieing. Even in 4th gear.

It doesn't seem to have the go because you are relying on your arse which is a bad judge.

We've had ZX9R's and both models of ZX10R's on the same dyno on the same day. ZX9R around 130hp, early ZX10R 154hp, later 160+hp. That's over 20-30hp at the top end, but you reckon the bottom end is going to be beefier on the 9 cos your arse told you so? Ever consider that the extra 20-30hp coming on higher up might make the lower end feel sluggish, even though it might be the same or higher?

...and yeah Phil, I can't believe I got dragged into this one

The ZX10 will be your master because you will be too shit to ride it properly. Not because you're a girl, but because you're a noob.
But at least you will look cool right?

Hey Mick.

I have not ridden a 10 in any form (04-07) so I can't say either way but I have ridden a few 12's and found that the power delivery is so smooth that you don't feel like you are travelling until you look at the speedo. From what you are saying this would be the same as the 10. It has shite loads of power but it just delivers it nice and smooth to give you the illusion that it has no pick up.I have ridden heaps of 9s and their power delivery is far less soomth than the 12 so they appear to give you more of a rush even though they don't actually pull as hard.

By the way 15 pages with out naked females must be a new record.

um yea so lets all pull 20k out of our asses and put in for 50 new 08 ZX10R's in that group buy, then we can go down to the Creek
and find out what the hell everyone is talking about...

Who's with me?!? so far i've got $2.90cents saved... i'm hoping we've allowed 20+ years to save for the 08 zx10r group buy! WOOOOOO!! 19 years to go!!

I don't know about you mate, but these 10's I've been told are gutless! Maybe we should all save for a Spewsuki or something!

Stretchy, as Wisc mentioned we rode the 2007. From what I've heard the 2005 10s are a lot more agressive which would explain why find them easy to mono.

You still haven't given any evidence to show the 10 has a stronger bottom end. Having riden Wisc's 9 and the 10, I seriously doubt the 10 makes more power down low, in stock form at least.
Now the Race Replica 14, that had an awesome bottom end  Although it did have quite a few mods.

And you still haven't shown me any evidence that it doesn't have a stronger bottom end...other than what your bottom end told you and sorry mate, I don't trust your bum. If it helps at all I've also ridden examples of all three bikes and my bum tells me that you are wrong. So who's got the most trustworthy bum? :D
