You need one of these cheap on fuel tyres only has as much power as your willing to put in and you would be unlucky to kill your self on it too

damn, l was looking for a cheap ZX10R for a track bike, but l guess a fireblade will do.

This thread is funny...sort of.

All I can say is that if you go from a ZX2 to a 10, and the statistically based insurance doesn't give you the hint, then nothing will. Modern 600's are faster in everyway than 5-10 year old litre bikes. My 650 will go the other side of 200 (not that I'd know) and gets to 150 so quick I feel like I should leave the money on the bedside table

Do what you want, and makes you feel good, but think about how much of what you are doing is peer pressure/n00bliness, and how much is "clear critical and logical thinking". Or just buy the 10 anyway...
