That does look nice. Good idea with the colours, they work well.

If only I had a bike worthy of his work.....

Well guess i'm probably on my pat malone here for something different, but I reckon it's bling that belongs on a HOG, not on a sportsbike, can understand more padding though, can't have TOO soft a surface under your bum :D

speaking of which, bigtez if your reading this, whotzitcost for a bit of gel under there for the rider? ( and esp the pillion seat as swmbo gets a numb bum on the gpx over an hour on it :( )

Actually i thought it was a bit plain. Although i have been able to do a bit of bling recently. Heres a few more examples of similar style pieces but on boats (thats what i do mostly).
If you would like your seat done email at terry@boatcanopies.com.au and let me know the sort of design you are after.

Tanya: do you mind if i use those pics on our website (when i eventually get it finished)?

Mike: by gel do you mean softer foam or actual gel inserts? I can do the extra foam but not gel. Anything that has 2 coloursor a stitched in design will have to have at least a layer of 10mm soft foam. It is fairly easy to add another layer of 10mmsoft foam under that. Anything more then that or for extensively damaged foam you are better off going through a company like corbin that specialise in bike seats.
