yep mainly when we go for a long ride, i find it helps me concentrate.
i find i tune it out when i need to concentrate.
i'll usually have a DJ mix playing.
fav at the moment is the latest pharmacy album - "EDIT: down with the sickness" (we are the roughest was the last one), mixed by hellraiser and proteus.
also love hard NRG anthems as well.

i never tryied it cos i think it would destract me , and if there was a rock song on id probably me all mean and angry on the road ect.
and i lik to hear whats happening , its part of the fun for me anyway

As for the iPod, I've tried it once and found it incredibly hard to put the helmet on whilst keeping the headphones in properly.
When I finally got it together, wind noise cancelled out half of the song anyway whilst distracting me at the same time - won't be doing that again in a hurry because I think it just stressed me out. In fact, I think I herniated myself. In the solar plexus.

well i dont own an ipod or m3 player, so no, but i do have a cd player which i hook up and stick to the tank bag holderon the tank, is cool.

not an i pod but mp3 but mainly on long straight rides ie halls gap or out that way
no top ten but i do like
darude "sandstorm" and slash's snakpit "sweet drug"

Oh and I don't have an ipod. I had a mini disk I used for the trips to P.I. It was full of NOFX songs....

Umm whilst my ipod was actually working -
Listened to a lot of techno -
Hardstyle, Hard Trance, Trance, Prog Trance, Happy Hardcore.. a big mix

i have used the ipod a couple times for the freeway bits. i wouldnt use it on any interesting roads.
generally find myself listening to Guns & Roses, sabbath, skynrd, zepplin, black label society or killswitch engage. Ie either old school or heavy

Yes i do longer rides with on
Learnt quickly to have the sound playing down low though
was forgeting to take corners when it was to high
i play it on random .............. and yes its scarey when your nieces have put Hanson on and it played when i was riding
