Shannons..... yeah bloody funny lot that
Insurance for enthusiasts, obviously that means you park the bugger up in a humidity controlled shed bolted to the cement PERMANENTLY.
Some one says there bike is insured by Shannons I now know that means it is nice & shiny..... and what wear there is on the tyres will be limited to the centre....
Yeah I do a few too many kliks for the suckers too... AND I actually RIDE the thing (Oh the SHAME of it) in the RAIN too (OH MY GOD NO)
Easy over 10,000 a year.... 200 a week at least plus trips away.

45,500km in three years and four months.
...having said that I've only done 2,500km since early December (when I had the bike in for a 60,000km service). Work and family life has been too busy and the bike is only used for the 30km daily commute.
Alas we have a second car now so I have an excuse to wimp out when it's pissing down with rain.

Shannons have never seen nor asked to see my bike so they don't know how I ride or look after it.
But yes I do look after it and no there aint no chicken strips on my tyres or my knee sliders...
There only question was do you do over 8000ks a year and is it in locked garage... The same queations as QBE, the only other insurer in NSW who is cost competative...

ummm...3200km since oct 05
pretty weak effort eh?
But half of those kms are track day kms...
And now that i has the slicks and race glass on it between trackdays its getting even less use.
