I received a letter from the CEO of NTC tonite ( I objected in writing)
basically saying same

Andy, never has been "legal" simply ignored, you can only lane split (legally) if you're overtaking a car on the rhs of it and within the lane. Reality is that is probably .05% of lane splitting cases that could be defined as "legal".

From my understanding it has been taken out of the package so the rest can go through,and they will get back to it later

That's basically what the official letter reads as, receved a copy that was addressed to the MRA of South Australia.
