I spose it would be reasonably easy going down the gears, but I was too pissed to remember if it hurt much going up them

the zx12 has a rubber sleeve on the end of the gear lever, aaaah built for comfort and speed.

once ive ridden with slip on style slippers for 20 km's. didnt up change as much as normal and i was worried they may fall off too. its kinda painfull with one pair of runners i have where the gear lever has worn thru the top of the shoe

Being late for uni regularly i've mastered the art of wearing slides and riding.
mine cover virtually my whole foot so they're comfy for gear change but they would fly off at the slip of the foot let alone an accident.
suffice to say i'm a lot more disciplined with wearing my gear these days

one of the clowns i kno over here is often seen wheelstanding thru the gears on his current model R1 in shorts,singlet,thongs, and a skull cap...

i ride in a thong everyday....
oh and i ahev ridden with thongs aswell, from garaghe to back yard to wash teh baby... bike was in gear and she stayed in gear....
moved the zx6 with no shoes on eth otherday and it was in first and had to change it to neutral dam well hurt
