Stupid Channel 31 doesnt have a digital feed, so I dont watch it any more...

its a joke, and unless/until Rupert wakes up to himself, the take-up rate for Pay TV in Oz is never going to reach the 50% he was *expecting* by 2005 ( wake up and smell the roses Rupert.......)

If they offered an option of Motorsports/Music/AFL (sorry Neka), then I would *very much consider* paying $20 per month for just those 3 channels..........but this idea that you *have* to pay for a squillion other channels with nothing but repeated shithouse ancient TV re-runs, is just a crock of excrement.....

Gos, that's a bit harsh, some poeple go to a lot of trouble to create the squillion other channels of excrement. You KNOW you really want the 13 home shopping channels and 75 religious channels but YOU won't admit it

And as Jase says above, there are a SHITLOAD of ads on Foxtel, probably even more so than on FTA tv which is saying something.

i was watching a special on national geographic a week or so ago on the austel(fox) at my missus place, i kid you not when i say at least every 15 minutes or so they popped another plug on for another two shows that were happening later that night, and in 2 days time.

I got friggin sick of it the adverts and actually went out and did things i was supposed to.

People with more money than sense........but I struggle to watch FTA as it is, I hate the ads on normal tele, and it costs SFA !!! just not a real 'tele' fan at all.........I only bung 'Rage' on to listen to the music, not watch the *generally* crap videos.....

lucky if I can sit down long enough to watch a GP, even footy matches have a break every 1/2 an hour..........
