but
the milkman and baker did deliver daily
..on horse and cart

we had chooks in a chookhouse
the ol' man had a 'soupcan' Victa
his 'new' car was a '55 FJ
with a gearbox with no synchro on 1st

the thunderbox was out the back
and the 'nightman' came and collected..nightly

(we pissed oursleves larfing..the night he fell over)

best of all.....
there were NO speed limits

oh btw
back then......... I had hair
