I've been living in Leuven last 5 years, it's 30 km east from Brussels. It's Flanders but the language border is just 6 km from the town

went thru it last time I was in Belgium ('bout 4 yr ago)
I like Belgium..the natives like Aussies (especially in Flanders
coz the WW1 memories) and the beer is great
even the plod there like us Aussies
(me did an illegal turn in Zonnebeke, i was on the wrong side of the road
and i only got a warning coz I was Aussie
)

Don't even mention Belgian beer, I miss it badly
As for Belgians, they are pretty much like Australians but unfortunately don't enjoy Australian weather and also speak strange dialect(s)
