Being that you're racing, you're probably not allowed to use NOS, but what about the oxygen concentrators the medics use?

Given the rate of flow of air into the engine, i dunno if that'd be any good either.

the concept behind cooling the air is that the cooler air is the more dense it is, therefore you get more oxygen into your cylinder and your bike will run better.

There is only a mild difference between 25 degrees and 20 degrees as far as performance on a bike goes... it is more noticable when it gets closer to 10 degrees...

You would need to cool the air down around about 20 degrees to get a noticable difference..

I suspect you would have a better result trying to add extra oxygen into the air going into your air box... I dont think there is any legal way to do that on a race bike...

Don't forget that dry ice is solid carbon dioxide and if any of that gets sucked into theair intakes you are effectively extinguishing the detonation.
Nip over to the local flying school and get yourself some avgas.....

The again AVGAS aint what it used to be. AVGAS once had an octane rating of 130, but it was very expensive and not good for for the environment , so it is now what they call 100LL. That is 100 octane low lead. it's much easier to put 98 from the servo and eat one less piece of pizza the night before.

May be the best way to place it is not into the airbox but may be inside the air scoop tunel. BTW I did try the avgass and VP fuell, it fly!!!!

so how do these planes stay in the sky with 30 RON points less in their fuel? thats a fair difference... dont think backing off the timing and richening the mixtures would allow for it!
