hey varden was at the auctions today getting my eye in

had a bit of a bid but thought i had better not fall in love with the first wreck that came my way but i dont think it wil be long before i aquire one.
you see a lot of the same model bikes and give it a while and i reckon you would see the same bike several times.
I told the guy that outbid me he should have let mehave it as i would look afer it better it was a 0410r and needed some raceglass.
have to stick to the budget.

Oooooh which one did you look at/bid on??
The green 05 ZX6R??
Or one of the two ZX10R's??
Or one of the two ZX9Rs??
Or the old ZXR750?
What kinda prices did they get Beryl??
I went down for a look on monday morning, i dunno if they had em all out on display by the time i got there, i was sure there was a green 04 636 with smashed front on the web but i could not see it in the lineup.
I'll be keeping an eye on the auction pages and I'll go down on auction day next time and see what kinda money they're chasing for these things.
Go the litre track bike!!!

oh look there it is in your post,

10R huh??
i think i saw a black one and a grey one, the black one had a smashed magneto housing with cogs sticking out of it

and some cosmetic stuff and i think the grey one had copped a punch on the forks/radiator/headers/ engine from something hard. All of the aforementioned were bent.
Am i on the right track??
the black one looked okay, don't need a magneto for track bike anyhoo

bidded on the 04 10r really wanted a another 046r because the 10 just isnt the thing to have at morgan park from what i am told that track is more suited to a rgv250.
The advertised 04 6r was a 05 and went for 7200 which was out of my price range for what i want.
For those that dont know i was recently converted into a pedestrain and am doing a neka so may as well build up a dedicated track hack and become a junkie....I did the crime so i do the time but it doesnt have to be all bad.
I dont think i would see the funnyside of destroying all the plastic on the track on my 6r better to buy a wreck andit wont be so bad.
Hey hemi nice pics the good thing about racing/trackdays is you wind up with a nice folder of pretty pictures and racing maybe a trophy or two.

errrr yeh but i also was driving 150000 km a year for a living so it isnt hard to knock up the points.
That annd i dont watch the news so i wasnt aware of the change of the points system till i went for a review with a majistrate no wonder those coppers where creaming the jocks over the fines they where handing me.
Try and tell me they didnt have kill sheets.
Anyway as i said I am now a pedestrian for a bit.

"Strawbs" you're a dead set legend mate. Great stuff & good report as well.
I dropped into Phil's at Highside leather today & to quote the Big fella....
"Yeah mate that boys bloody plenty of heart, it was wet iot was dry it was wet & he was having a big go ... he needs to get the bike sorted out though .... "
Good onya mate, guess I'll be getting smoked at Morgan park from now on.
Cheers Brett
