I swear my car CTP was $200 less last year........ive not been game enough to look too closely at my bike insurance (i looked before but luckily ive forgotten the figures........too scared to look again lol).

used the calculator $976 the cheapest, knew it wouldn't be cheap

that sucks for you guys, SA has just dropped the rego ctp fee as they changed the policy wording to exclude a few things covered including criminal acts excessive speed whatever.

I dont have a roadbike registered at present so all I can base it on is a 500+cc dirtbike:
ctp of $211 inc gst for 12 months
rego inc ctp = $340 p/a

Geez you guys in NSW are getting bent over !

Paid 12 months registration back in April for my ZX10R .......a grand total of $230.80. This is single seat registration and includes CTP Insurance. Our vehicle registration in QLD includes CTP in your renewal notice. Single seat registration is about half of a normal(2 seat motorcycle) registration as you are not carrying a pillion which significantly reduces the CTP part of the registration.

Would like that option here considering my dirtbikes are made for one person only, I think Qld is the only state that does it?
