You have his name, phone number, number plate and evidence. Sort the moron out. Dunno where you guys were but I saw a similar knob jockey on the oxley a few years ago doing similar run an oncoming landcruiser off the road and head on into the guard rail. Truck kept going.

Don't think it mattered. He seems to be using the centre line as the middle of his truck.

Looks like he gave you lot an extra metre or so compared to Leanne and I. We had to effectively lane split like at a set of traffic lights between the trailer and a rock wall. Scarey stuff but like has already been posted, its a good reminder to ride within your own limits and not of the limits of the person in front of you ;)

All footage to the RTA.

If the corner tight they need to slow down & stay within the lane. If they don't fit in the lane then they require an escort.

thought it looked familiar (although most roads that way look similar) i think it may even be the same truck that did the same thing to me last year. looks the same and when we spoke to a few locals, they said it is a regular thing for him to do to bikes....... angry9.gif

I have a few mates who are truck drivers ( B Double and Petrol/LPG supplies mainly)
and even they say there are TWO types they watch out for...
timber and dirt/sand carriers

wonder what would have been the result if it was Dad/Mum/the kids and a caravan tootling along that same bit of road?
guess we would be looking a one serious collision/fatal (and no way could you call it an accident)

what would our friendly KSRC poleecman Aardie have to say about about these pics...?

Theres a phone number on the truck, I'd be sending him nuts with call at all hours of the night, just for being a fuckwit. Also send or TAKE these shots to a police station & have him charged. There are enough of you involved to be taken seriously. Also send the story to Today Tonight, they are always looking for this sort of story. I this case we the riders are in the right.
Remember they did a story about truckies had to put up with dickhead drivers, & fitted a camara to a truck. It was a huge beat up. This will be the same, but it turn the tables in our favor!!

I would advise everyone to do NOTHING at this time. If this gets police attention :???: that phone number will be the easiest way for police to contact that bloke, and if he ditches/disconnects it because he's getting harassed then it'll just be that little bit harder.

What a cowboy
Glad you all got home in one piece.
That truck is capable of doing that turn without being out of his lane.
