I wonder if he even realised his daughter (or grand daughter) was climbing all over the bikes at the 5:25 mark, classic

Rode my mate's duke the other day just round the block, best thing other than the exhaust noise was giving it back to my mate and jumping back on my kwaka.

I have introduced Leanne to the Gosling principal and she is now a convert.

Now we need to find somewhere with a big enough garage to keep them.
Happy to store them at my place in Perth nelso

Nothing wrong with owning a few bikes . And not riding them is fine too . I get a lot of enjoyment just looking at the bikes and tinkering with em too .

I don't see a problem with the bloke collecting a bike, not riding then, and some never having been started.
If he didn't someone else would.
I don't see value is owning something, holding into its 'value' when it's never started or so rarely that there is no way of knowing if its a 'running' bike. 20 odd years of an engine sitting still can't be good unless its been preserved in some manner. If that's possible.
I'd love a large theatre room in the man cave with a few nice bikes on display... But they would be ridden bikes even if just to prove they are more than ornaments.

i dont see how he's a wanker for not riding all the bikes. like honestly how can you find time to ride every bike , plus he wants to preserve their originality. to him it must be important. good on him , if i had the cash , i would do the same thing but in ford gt's of the early 70's , i would have it all , phase 1 , 2 & 3. xa , xb gt's and a bathurst cobra. why not???
heres another collection of kwakas

no offense, i wish I never posted it the orig now.
i thought it was a good post btw even if i dont particularly like the flavour of that brand, at least it didn't turn to trash straight away which is fairly normal here
All my bikes have appeared on this forum in several threads in the past and probably will in the future as well.
Edit* I dont own any "garage queens"....yet...

I agree with Johnno. I don't think anything bad went down, I enjoyed it and have no problem with the guy and his collection.
I would quite happily have a collection like that if I could afford it and heaps of other bikes to ride as well.
I reckon you don't let anybody worry you. If you like it post it up. If you don't like it post it up. It's all there for discussion.
