The no label will come into full effect next year.

Lucky boy Pete. I would get rid of the old label quick smart. It is an offence to display an expired label more so than no label at all.
Jan 1st is the date for no label. Put it in your pocket till then and say it just fell off.

You dont have to worry about rego labels now as they have been shit canned.
Yeah i had my rego tube at the bottom of the plate so this may of been part of the problem,still the metal is quite soft, i actually asked the bloke at the RTA about not having to display the rego as he issued me a new one with the new plate and it is from January 1,2013 and applies to all vehicles under 4.5 tonne, i'm just gonna stick the new one under the passenger seat for the next 12 Days

Before you fit your new plate coat the back with thiiiiick layer of silicon usually called selastic

Guy's I get a bit of vibration off the Z1000. I now have drilled a couple extra holes and zip tied the plate as well. KEL10R thanks for the info.
