Not if you paid $1300 for oneGlen wrote:If your looking to make dough there are any number of better ways. Investment and bike normally don't sit we'll together. Even "classics" like the z900 are a dud investment over time
If you just want something cool in the shed that might appreciate over time then that's fine though but don't count on it appreciating at an acceptable rate.

True you may not make much money from a bike (unless you have a Vincent Black Shadow in your shed)
Johnnyflash is on the mark with his entries, i would add the Ducati 999R as it will appreciate, just a bit ahead of it's time , aswell as the early 'first model' Japanese bikes i.e original R1 (in red and white), first model GSX-R (750 and 1000), Honda SP1 or Aprillia RS250, rarity original condition and low kms

Re: Investment bike
8 years i bought a 250 single ducati for $7K which is worth more than i paid for it
i then almost bought a 78 900ss for $9K but didnt
they are now worth over $25K
300% increase over 8 years is pretty good in my book
by the by bikes are not a sensible investment

Anything is only worth what someone is willing to hand over cash for.
I don’t care how liberated this world becomes – a man will always be judged by the amount of alcohol he can consume – and a woman will be impressed, whether she likes it or not.
