Yep, stick to the 600 for your first track bike.

How much do they normally go for at auctions like this? If they don't go too cheap probably not worth it.
How much to get bike transported to Melbourne?

I wouldn't touch that one. It looks about 2 inches shorter than it should be. Forks/triples or frame bent there.

Plus 15,000km... barely broken in!
I thought about it myself to be honest 'cause I'd like to have a clubsport to play with and that bike would allow me to swap wheels with the current one if I needed. But I really can't afford it atm...

What advantage would there be with fuel injected over carb bike.
Tuning would be better but for first track bike probably wouldnt matter.

Looking at the 1st photo again, the forks look close to the radiator .
Was that what you picked up on?
