Sidi Vertigo. Great, comfortable boot, even for walking around in. They need a resole at the moment, but for about $60, its a hell of a lot cheaper than buying a new pair

I find what makes boots last longest is
Correct foot placement on pegs.
Ive got original soles on mine still, and original toe sliders

I just thought it might be interesting to see what we were wearing / buying
If you feel like adding more details:
What model? Are you happy with them? Why / why not
Have you run out of gaffer tape ? I have a spare roll - should see you through another 12 months ...
I'm using Dririder Waterproof touring ..
OK in showers or light drizzle - fail in heavy rain or sustained wet weather touring.

A* SMX-5 Waterproof. Great road bike boots and keep your feet dry for about 4 or 5 hours of heavy rain. Not so dry after that.

I've already ordered myself a new pair (yeah - at last!), but was curious about what our members did for shoes.
No more gaffa tape for me!

Alpinestars Stella SMX-5's. I've worn out two pairs so far, recently bought a pair of Alpinestars GPS3's so my feet don't get wet when it looks like rain and they are okay but I am going to buy another pair of SMX-5's because they are betterer.

I still have my Oxtar matrix (Madkaw recommended them in 2004) they still dont leak and the most comfortable foot ware I have other than my moccasins.
It will be a while before they need tape on them
Sidi for other duties.
I have a new pair of A stars that the zip broke on the first use CBF with them TBH.

I like my Sidis for the road. No idea what the model is but they are as comfortable as buggery and my last pair went for ages. I've got Gaernes for the track as I picked them up cheap and the ankle protection is really good. Not as comfortable on me as the Sidis though

+1 for the road boots...Like
Alpinestars tech 6 for the dirt (when I do manage to go)
Can't really say my dirt boots are comfy at all ...
In saying that...Id rather be, not so comfy and well protected than vise versa though..
