I don't know how you do your job Leanne... Would not blame you if you needed a break and moved into a different area. I'm sure you do a great thing, but I don't know if anybody could do it long term. Would just take too much of your soul out of you.
Me, I do completely useless shit. I map stuff. Right now, it's bus routes. I'm trained to do some very cool stuff, but no jobs in my awesome field, so I just click my mouse and create pretty maps with timetables, until the mortgage is smaller, or they stop renewing my contract - whichever comes first!

i fix the shit you guys are on now. I do this for a major Australian corporation. Be it phone, laptop, desktop, server, mac, pc, smoke signal i can fix it.
Also run these services privately outside of my usual 9-5. But i charge extra

i play with cushions and curtains...
but i can also 3d model funiture, interiors, buildings, whole developments and document in 2D anything from joinery to a full interior fitout. I can use 2 different cad/modelling programs as well. Autocad & SketchUp
Am currently working for myself (read: unemployed) so have a look at what i do and hire me!

Well for 30 plus years i have been un the bicycle industry,all areas mechanic,sales,overseas purchaser,sales rep and my own imports buisness.
And no i dont ride one last time mine came out of the shed was about 8 years ago

I drive on a dyno all day.
These days mostly making vehicles meet emissions compliance for RTA, Engineering requirements, or the OEH (were called DECCW, DECC, EPA, or whever they feel like on the day). So when people modify their dodgey cars it is my job to make them undodgey.
