but the Z is a good handler & thats what lets the ZRX down.
You can fix that to a certain extent

, its fun to look at then too

Well Im convinced & Im keeping the ZRX. I cant afford 2 bikes. If anyone says they can make good handlers out of them they are kidding themself. The frame, suspension & genaral weight V power V frame strenth V geometry, just isnt there. You can by all the top shelf suspension money can by, but the 25/30 year old technolagy is still working aganst you. But its still one hell of a good ride. The engine is tough a an old pack horse. And it still get more looks than any other bike in the carpark!

So it staying with me for a while longer. Besides you just dont dump a good friend because someone better comes along..

Nothing has ever passed mine in a turn mate!! Some claim to have passed it, but I think you'll find, it was always on a straight, where I hit my $1.something limit not cause it lacked any turn speed and any tool can open a throttle!!!!!!

Nothing to do with common sense

and my penis is massive, at least three inches.........................across the eye.
Sman you're right, I've seen the odd sports bike made look silly by a Rex
Someone once said .................they are....................

More than the sum of their parts

. Who was that masked man
And mine handles just fine for a roadbike, its no blade/zx-10/fulyysikgsxrmate/arewon but i dont want it to be

So does Marty's -handle OK, that is - from whht I've seen - and that was before the Gazi upgrade

Yeah its more a heart thing than a head thing. Its staying & maybe some Gasi in the future. But for the amout of riding I do,[which is very little] it always puts a smile on the dial, & thats what counts..

Mate the Gazi's and some front suspender twiddling is the best thing you can do with them. I find the frame flex is a good thing on our harsh roads. Gives way more warning of impending disaster and usually walks it's way through it without falling over, where the stiff sports bikes end up shuddering across the road. The Gazi's are the best thing I have done to mine apart from riding it!!!
And thanks Phil......

Yeah I just took it out for its first ride since winter. I think Im really expecting more than you guys. The thing bends like an old H2. Im gonna have a look over the weekend & see if theres not some engine mount bolt lose or something. I really wollows bad, I was pushing at about 8/10th on an undulating road, & while it stayed straight & true, it was flexing like well a H2 750. I would love to meet up with a couple of other ZRX owners & let them ride it. It could be just me, or it could be the bike?? Only way to find out is to compair it to another.
Maybe get Phil on it & get some feedback. Im mostly pretty good at bike setup. well all my race bikes are sorted very well, so Im think its something that comes with the ZRX or something is wrong.????

Oh dear its happaning again. I had a look on bikesales & the Z 1000 Ninjas are getting cheap on the 2011 plate models. I think Im gonna do it, Im so temped & im fighting it with all my might. If I find a buyer for my lovely ZRX I will be doing a deal on a Z1000. I just cant help it, I like the look of them, & with the 2011 plate models getting cheap, what is a man to do. I am only human you know.
So if you know anyone in the market for a very nice 05 ZRX1200 with sensible mods, eg: Remus carbin slipon, 4deg advancer, S model dash, gearsack race & pack, Promocha suspension, slipscreen 2inch taller screen, crash knobs, PM me. I god now Im talking meself out of selling it again!!

I have all the origanal gear which will go with the bike, Im not gonna trade it because the dealers will jack up the price of the Z to cover a silly tradin price.

Its easy'r to just walk in & talk turkey with $$$$$. If you know what I mean?

Hi S Man. I am looking for a ZRX to purchase so if you decide to go with a Z1000 I may be interested in the ZRX. I don't know if that makes your decision easier or harder. PM me if you are interested.

My biggest issue with the Z1k - I can't seem to find the latest model in green!
