The wheels are a lot more true than the stupid marks on the adjusters. You can also measure to the tire although it is probably not as true as the wheel. I spun my rear wheel with a piece of chalk fastened to the swing arm and it was pretty true. Speaking of stupid, I think I'll go look in the mirror.

Sorry been a while. The product I used is called PROFI Laser Cat. I bought mine through Moto-Tech, www.mototechdiagnostics.com.au or call 07 3385 7977 or 0405 548 757. Seriously quick to use, bring chain up to correct tension (see owner manual) then adjust brake side until laser runs up entire lenght of chain (laser lines up on the outside plate of the chain), then re-check chain tension etc.
