Same old fat ugly tail section (oh wait they tweaked the turn signals a bit).

Longer wheelbase and 584 pounds light = R designation?

From Kawi Aus. (although the links already been posted.. :kuda:

See the link below for real world testing of the 2012 Ninja ZX-14R ABS and the Hayabusa by Ricky Gadson.

See the torque curve to understand the performance improvement.

Max Power is 147.2kW at 10,000rpm the torque is a massive 162.5N-m at 7,500 rpm.

Power jumps to 154.5kW with the Kawasaki very effective RAM air system.

Kawasaki now has the two most powerful models the Ninja ZX-10R and Ninja ZX-14R both with Traction control and ABS, does it get any better?

Kawasaki expects the 2012 Ninja ZX-14R ABS in early January 2012, it also may arrive in late December 2011 what is father Christmas bring you this year?

So HP wise its pretty similar to the Gen 4 zx10 (147.1kw at 13,000rpm and 114.3N-m at 11500rpm), but the torque is just amazing.

You wanna hope the torque and power are up it has got a 1441cc bloody motor in it.

When most guys get older and go to harleys i'll get one of these and a gear sach for the back and take the misses everywhere :kuda:

Oh and 2001 called they want there exhausts back.

Would look alot better with tiny pipes.

On another note the new GSXR-1000 finally woke up and went back to a single pipe maybe the zx14 can learn from that.

Don't wait till you get old, you'll miss out on the "sports" of the best "sports tourer" ever built. Get one now, before you get too old to handle it ;) I'll be updating my 2006, with the 2012.

Agree on the ugly pipes, but that's an easy fix with some after market slip on's. Although, I prefer the 4 into 2 look over the 4 into 1, it gives a balanced appearance.

Not yet, will be mid next year before I can get my hands on a demo or near new 2012 model.
I'm not keen on paying full retail price for a new one ;)
