shame you arent aware that you are legally allowed to ride the bike to the nearest rego place

Well theres some good news from all this... The bike will not be written off and will be fully repaired!!! Only drawback is that its going to take 1 month to be fixed!! apparently the parts are coming from japan which blows... I hope i get my bike back before the Wall to wall ride!!

Bitter sweet.. better cross everything, I had to wait a month for a clutch to be sent from over there, but they've had some disasters since then

Well ive gone and visited the people fixing my bike up and they have told me sad news... they said that the headlight bracket which hold the mirrors headlight etc, from kawasaki australia, that they had 3 of, are all manufactured incorrectly and wont fit properly on any of the 250's they have there including mine, and now they have to wait 3 weeks for the 24 that are coming from japan and see if they fit... IF they dont fit i have told them to use the one off my tracky in the meantime to get my bike back on the road and when the new part arrives they install the new part ( hoping it fits) and i will get my bike back....

sorry to hear that mate! i would have taken the risk and ridden home and if you got pulled over i would have said i was going to the rta which is allowed! but dont dwell on ir just tell those mofo's to hurry up so you can ride again!
