Yeah can't remember the year but last time I stayed there in a tent we had wind and rain that wanted to send the tent down to Tasmania, and to top it off I forgot my sleeping bag DOH! Survived to tell the tale but.

Sawft the lot of yas, I have stayed at the GP - in a tent in trackside campground - every year bar one since the GP's returned to the island in 97. Yes it gets a bit chilly, man up and camp - it's not even "real" camping..........youve got like a tent, not just a groundsheet strung up in the trees
BTW, I am up at 0530-0600 every morning to get ready to go to work (have been since 96 anyway) shower shit and shave and I'm away

I know the feeling use to travel the F3 at 430am in the morning rain, hail, sleet, so cold isnt a prob on the bike, the main concern was the tent in the howling winds. Losing it mainly due to wind. also the fact of having to transport it all on the new 9.

Just remember to keep your tent zipped up when you walk away from the camp-site.

Buy a
name brand tent - with
an awning that you can get your shoes on in.

Oh crap, then I'll have to go to the camping stores and test them. Bugger they were cheaper.
