My 9 was a 2000 E model and totally stock. But I could get it to do much lower times than that. I had it down to a 7.8 @ 292kph through turn three at the Island and a 8.7 @ 260kph through turn 1 on the same day. I had good tyres on but!

Which Island, Phillip or Man?

Stoner only does 240/250 through turn three at P.I :prayer:

You're forgetting that Stoner DOESN'T ride a ZX9R though... :cheesy:

The 9 is so much more powerful and ha superior handling capabilities to the 800cc Honda! 5badair.gif

Exactly! I was trying to be sarcastic...

9.6 at 149mph - An ultra-light jokey and experienced drag strip racer wouldn't do that on a worked ZX9R lowered and strapped at the quarter mile.

1:38 at Eastern Creek - A great rider wouldn't do that on a race-prepped ZX9R at EC, let alone a road bike.

I certainly couldn't, on my 9, my Busa or on any bike! :D

I call "bullshit".

Fair enough I don't know you and have never ridden with you. You may be absolutely brilliant for all I know!
Maybe I'll offend a few, but happy to apologise if you show us video footage of it...

...I'll come and time from upstairs (since lap timers aren't allowed!) :D

Let me know when it's heading to WSID as well, and I'll stage in the lane next to you on my Busa and learn from you, like Wattie, as you accelerate away from me...

Anytime u wanna run me pan. Any track, any ride. I will use my daytona 675 and smoke ya. Put bikes on the line and I might use my aprillia rsv. Google the times buddy. And all I can say is super bike schools. Try em. Or maybe you should bite the bullet and buy a cruiser. I think Harley are doing deals ATM. U might pick up a SOFTtail real cheap. Comes with a pension card and viagra scripts. Lmao. If u think u don't need em I will get a mate on a GS1300 to beat you around the creek.

Oh and jap I changed my rear a bit and dropped the psi by 5 when cold. Didn't cut the tire up as much and could get on the power a bit earlier with the tail not squirming as much. Still struggling with the ohlins front thou. I think the oil needs looking at. I am runnin a composite oil to get the right viscosity. I am thinking going upside forks. But finding the right ones is proving difficult. Lol
