Woose's bikes were very very clean . And the ZRX is better in the flesh than the pics I have seen before . That Mori pipe is a lot nicer than I thought .

The 350 is running well .... sort of .
Drilled out the old stud hole and put a timesert in . But .. when I had the barrel off , Nobby spied a crack in the piston skirt , so told me to get the other barrel off and it was time for a rebore . The bores were actually pretty badly etched from some previous water damage .
Had a new pair of 1.5 oversize pistons in no time and last Wednesday the barrels and pistons were at the engineers with instructions to get em back fast .
Thursday afternoon it was all back together
The only problem now is with the carbs . The 32s on it are rooted making setting float height a hit and miss afair . Mid range is bad . Not an issue at Phillip Island , but would be a bastard at Mac Park
Riding the Nikko high lighted how bad the LC's midrange is . The TZ 350 motor was way more tractable
Mind you , still had a ball on it .

New carbs are ordered .

Had a crack at getting this going , but just too much other shit to do . Thanks to Nobby and Ash for having a red hot go . Makes it hard when bearings for a crank are not what they are supposed to be

That was a very tidy bike .
You want to try and get to the Aussie Titles , November @ Symons Plains . Or The Island Classic . A few Westies get over for the Island .
Have you met Glen Ducie (sp) over there ? He gets over to Historic events and would know all about shipping .
Astralites turn up ever now and then . Those black ones look the best IMHO

Yep I know Glen through the HCMCWA over here, they were raving about the last Broady visit, they normally ship a sea container of bikes over for the big events, would love to ride the island one day
