Would that be the Thundercat. Apart from the trippy model name, they're a sensational bike. A mate of mine had the 1000 "Thunderace" and it was a brilliant bike.
edit - just checked my years and I'm about two out. Nice bike though mate

After 95 I think they called them the thunder cat. Same bike anyway.

That there is an FZR600, not YZF.
Good bike in the day, really small and thin compared to the same vintage ZZR - guess you saw that straightaway. Wont have the same outright power but not a bad little bike if it goes well.

I concur! The FZR family is smallish, and you will enjoy it immensely!
I used to ride a FZR-400 ,.. and a yzf-750... so i figure the 600 would be ideal!
Enjoy riding her.... any bike is better than no bike!
