So, told them you wont be in for a week starting Wednesday yet? Shaun is also thinking about riding down with us Wednesday and then comming home Thursday..............

Yeah Glen max everything on the rear was what i found works best. What settings did you end up with on the forks? Mine is 3/4 preload, two off max comp & one of max rebound. But my front is different to yours, "R" V's "S".

I've got two rings showing on the front preload, one off max on rebound and two off on compression. Works ok I think. Still a bit bouncy but once you work out you can chuck it in it kind of just sits and grunts out of the corner. Getting on the gas seems to be the trick

i'm not much for short rides so almost always have my tankbag on (chainlube, rainsuit, toothbrush, etc...about 7 kilo)...then there's me & my gear so all together 90 kilo + or -

37psi front tyre (for scalloping prevention)...42 rear

i do have the same suspension as Glen (long story) which i prefer to the '01 OEM stuff

front...preload stock...comp 10th click out...reb 1st click out

rear...2, 2 & 2...which is a hair soft but deals with real road conditions nicely & reduces discomfort...it's a little bit of a compromise

adapting my cornering technique to the softish rear wasn't a big deal...just kinda move my weight forward sometimes
